Goumbook has opened applications for the 2026/2027 cohort of its MENA Regenerative Agriculture Venture Programme, which supports researchers, students, scientists and innovators developing solutions for agriculture in arid and climate-vulnerable environments.

The programme is open worldwide to research-backed solutions that address agricultural challenges relevant to the MENA region. Eligible projects can be process-driven or technology-based and must focus on regenerative agriculture, climate resilience and sustainable farming.

Priority areas include food and water security, soil health, biodiversity, salinity, carbon sequestration, desertification, climate adaptation and mitigation, and rural livelihoods.

Participants will develop regenerative agriculture and entrepreneurship skills, refine their solutions, connect with experts and mentors, and work toward moving their research from proof of concept to real-world application. The programme also aims to help applicants build the business capabilities needed to scale and secure funding.

Applications are assessed based on the solution’s relevance to agricultural conditions and opportunities in the MENA region.
