Huawei Egypt and the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) have launched free training programs for university students and graduates through the Egyptian Talents Academy (ETA), focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other digital technology fields.

Announced on July 27, 2026, the initiative offers training pathways that progress from foundational to intermediate, professional and expert levels. Participants can also earn professional certifications, according to the announcement.

The programs cover data communications, cybersecurity, 5G, AI, cloud computing and big data analytics. Training will be delivered through NTI branches and Creativa innovation centres across most Egyptian governorates, expanding access beyond major technology hubs.

The academy is intended to help align digital skills development with labour-market needs, drawing on Huawei’s expertise and NTI’s training infrastructure. The partners said the initiative will support the development of talent for Egypt’s growing digital economy and improve access to technology training for young people.
