Saudi AI company HUMAIN plans to launch a global venture capital fund this year that could exceed $10B, as it expands investments in AI and related technologies worldwide.
CEO Tarek Amin told Semafor that the fund could be larger than the company’s earlier $10B plan. It is expected to have offices in Saudi Arabia, the US, France and the UK, giving HUMAIN access to major AI markets.
Amin linked the expanded ambition to HUMAIN’s $3B investment in xAI’s $20B funding round in February 2026. Following SpaceX’s acquisition of xAI, HUMAIN’s stake was converted into shares in SpaceX.
The company said it will focus on businesses that can connect to Saudi Arabia’s AI ecosystem, including companies that use local data centers or move part of their teams and operations to the Kingdom. HUMAIN also plans to launch HUMAIN Limitless, a separate initiative focused on Saudi AI startups.
The strategy comes as HUMAIN develops AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, including data centers, cloud computing, models and applications. The company is targeting around 6 gigawatts of data center capacity by 2034 and said its facilities could offer computing costs about 30% lower than in other regions.
