More than 120 women entrepreneurs from Ramallah, Hebron and Jerusalem took part in bootcamp and hackathon activities organised by MA’AN Hub under the Noor project.
Held from July 19 to 23, 2026, the activities covered market analysis, financial planning, pricing, customer acquisition and pitching, with a focus on the needs of the Palestinian market.
The project provides training, mentorship, financing and networking to help women launch and grow sustainable businesses. It supports both early-stage ideas and existing ventures seeking to expand, according to the announcement.
MA’AN Hub said the next stage will include presentations before a specialised committee, which will select 85 women entrepreneurs to receive funding grants. Noor will run for 15 months and include specialised training, mentoring and field visits to assess and follow up on participating businesses.
MA’AN Hub, the entrepreneurship arm of the Development and Economic Association (MA’AN), offers incubation, acceleration, capacity building, consulting, financing access and market connections. The centre said it has supported more than 10,000 entrepreneurs in the West Bank and Gaza since its establishment.
The Noor project is funded by the World Bank through the Ministry of Finance and Planning and managed by the Palestinian NGO Development Center (NDC).
