Makani Innovation Hub, in partnership with MENACatalyst Foundation, has opened applications for Makani Startup Weekend – GEW 2026, a program for entrepreneurial ideas, MVPs and early-stage startups in Palestine.
Applicants can choose one of two tracks. The Tech Solutions track, for technology-led ideas and digital products, will run on November 18–19, 2026. The Social Impact track, focused on community challenges and sustainable impact, will run on November 25–26.
Each track includes two days of practical training, followed by mentorship and guidance. Participants will work on developing their business models, understanding their markets and customers, and improving their pitching and presentation skills.
Winning projects may qualify to compete in the Impact Founders Challenge, where they will have the chance to win an award supporting further project development. Participants selected from both tracks will also take part in a final demo day before a judging panel, with the date to be announced later.
The program is open to individuals with entrepreneurial ideas, founders with a minimum viable product and early-stage startups. Applications close on November 9, 2026. Applicants must select one track only.
