talabat has launched talabat grow in Qatar in partnership with Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), targeting 180 high-potential, locally owned small businesses.
The invite-only programme will run for 12 months, beginning with a two-week intensive session followed by tailored support. Participating restaurants will receive guidance on performance optimisation, data-driven decision-making and digital tools, alongside commercial support, subsidised commission rates and one-to-one help from talabat’s partner success teams.
QSTP is joining as the programme’s technology innovation partner. According to the announcement, it will connect participating restaurants with startups from its community to explore solutions for everyday operational challenges, cost reduction and business growth. Promising technologies may be piloted with talabat grow restaurants where relevant, although the announcement does not guarantee pilots.
The launch brought together local media, restaurant partners and entrepreneurs in Qatar. Moaiad Aqel, Managing Director of talabat Qatar, said the initiative would help restaurant partners better understand their performance and support more sustainable growth.
QSTP Business Development Director Eng. Ahmed Al-Said said the partnership would bring innovation closer to the food and beverage sector while giving startups an opportunity to test their solutions in real businesses.
