Morocco’s MRTB Opens Applications for 4-Month START 2.0 Retail Tech Program

The Moroccan Retail Tech Builder (MRTB) has opened applications for the second edition of START 2.0, a four-month support program for startups developing retail technology solutions with a proof of concept or minimum viable product.

The program is designed to help founders structure their businesses, test solutions in the market and prepare for further growth. Support includes expert and mentor guidance, business model and go-to-market development, product and UX improvement, customer acquisition, finance, HR and legal support.

Participants will also have access to field experimentation and validation, pitch and investment preparation, and connections with retail tech partners, business opportunities and financing. The program is backed by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and the OCP Group Foundation, according to the announcement.

Applications are open to committed entrepreneurs ready to accelerate the development of their retail tech solutions. The deadline is September 30, 2026.
