A Strategic Move into High-Performing US Assets
While the specific amount invested by ADIC was not disclosed, the participation underscores the sovereign wealth fund’s continued focus on high-yield global opportunities. This marks the first capital raise for ExodusPoint since 2023, when it secured approximately $1 billion. The move comes shortly after Mubadala raised nearly $2 billion from selling 22 million shares in the chipmaker GlobalFoundries, indicating an active reallocation of its vast capital reserves.
Mubadala’s Global Portfolio Diversification
This investment aligns with Mubadala’s broader global strategy. The Emirati sovereign fund manages a $385 billion portfolio with assets spanning six continents. North America represents the largest portion of its holdings, accounting for 44 percent of its assets.
Other significant regions in its portfolio include Europe (15 percent) and the Asia Pacific (13 percent). Domestically, Mubadala holds major stakes in entities like First Abu Dhabi Bank, Emirates Global Aluminium, and the tech company G42, with 24 percent of its total assets invested within the UAE.
