Saudi-based freelance platform Hurr has announced a $2M growth initiative combining a new AI-powered contracting tool, the acquisition of Elherfa and partnerships with Khibraty and Future Work.
The company said Hurr Sign & Pay will let businesses and freelancers manage agreements through WhatsApp, including AI-assisted contract creation, digital signing, payments, invoicing and documentation.
Hurr said it acquired Elherfa to expand its freelance ecosystem and integrate additional talent and capabilities into the platform. Its partnership with Khibraty, a Saudi-Jordanian platform, will broaden access to freelancers, consultants and specialised experts. A separate partnership with Future Work will support Hurr’s work around flexible employment and independent talent in Saudi Arabia.
Hurr clarified that the $2M figure represents the estimated strategic and commercial opportunity linked to these initiatives. It does not represent funding raised, company valuation or recognised revenue.
The company said it currently serves a community of more than 42,000 freelancers across over 100 professional fields, as it expands beyond a marketplace into tools for accessing, contracting, managing and paying flexible talent.
