Nawa | Tech Venture 2026 Final to Feature Five Libyan Startups

The final stage of Nawa | Tech Venture 2026 will take place tomorrow in Benghazi, following a competition that drew more than 600 projects from cities across Libya.

Organised by the University of Benghazi’s business incubator, the competition shortlisted five technology and entrepreneurship projects after an initial evaluation by specialists in startups, innovation and business development.

The finalists will present their projects to a panel of business leaders and investors, with the aim of connecting promising ideas with investment and incubation opportunities. The event is also expected to offer a platform for attendees to learn more about emerging Libyan startups and technologies.

The final will be held from 5pm to 6pm at the Benghazi International Exhibition and Conference Centre, opposite Al Massa Mall. The organisers are inviting technology, programming, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and investment professionals, as well as university students, developers and innovators.

Nawa | Tech Venture 2026 is being held in partnership with Ruya Foundation for Digital Development as part of Libya Digital Forum and Exhibition 2026. According to the announcement, the competition is supported by First Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander General.
