Dubai hosted the first Palestinian Investment Forum, bringing together more than 20 projects and startups with investors, entrepreneurs and academic and economic leaders to explore investment opportunities and partnerships.

Organised by the Palestinian Business Council at the Innovation Institute in Sustainable City, the forum showcased companies working across artificial intelligence, fintech, education, healthcare, e-commerce, logistics, agri-tech, smart construction and digital solutions. The event also included support organisations such as Ibtikar Fund, Intersect, Palestine Technology Park and MENA Catalyst.

Three initiatives were announced to support Palestinian startups and talent. Bayt.com will provide eligible companies with free access to recruitment services. Freelanso introduced “Pal Sourcing,” a nonprofit recruitment agency operating from Gaza to connect Palestinian talent with employers worldwide.

Zaitoun Ventures also launched “Zaitoun Scale,” which will connect large companies with qualified Palestinian startups through a pay-for-performance business model, according to the announcement.

The forum’s organisers said Dubai’s business and investment ecosystem could help Palestinian companies access capital, international markets and partnerships that support job creation and sustainable economic impact.
