The 2026 Esports World Cup will conclude in Paris on Sunday, marking the tournament’s first edition to hold its final outside Saudi Arabia after two editions in Riyadh.
The third edition has been hosted across seven weeks at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with additional activities at locations around the French capital. The move gives the competition a broader international footprint and access to a new audience.
Saudi telecom group stc is participating for the third consecutive year as a main partner. The partnership includes naming rights for the stc Arena and stc Players Lounge, as well as the stc Contenders platform, which hosts competitions and qualification opportunities for amateurs, fans and professional players.
The company’s stc EWC channel is also broadcasting the tournament on stc tv. According to the announcement, recorded content from the Paris competition has attracted nearly 3 million views.
Badr Al-Mubti, stc’s general manager of relations and partnerships, said the move to Paris represents the partnership’s first international expansion. The group is expected to continue its collaboration with the tournament in 2027.
