Qatar Chamber has reaffirmed its support for Qatari entrepreneurs and youth-focused initiatives aimed at building innovation and business skills.
Ali bin Shorback Al Mansouri, acting director general of Qatar Chamber, made the remarks at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Summer Innovation Camp for Entrepreneurship, organised by the Young Entrepreneurs Club under the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in partnership with Qatar Chamber and Qatar Science and Technology Park.
According to the announcement, Al Mansouri said the chamber views entrepreneurship as an important driver of economic diversification, sustainable growth, innovation and the shift toward a knowledge-based economy.
He added that the camp provided participants with an interactive learning environment to explore their abilities, develop teamwork and initiative, and gain a practical introduction to entrepreneurship and innovation. The chamber will continue working with the Young Entrepreneurs Club and other relevant organisations to support programmes that help young people develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, described the camp as a national youth experience focused on turning ideas into models, opportunities and projects that can contribute to the economy and society.
