Msheireb Properties, a prominent Qatari sustainable real estate developer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with local IT services provider MEEZA to introduce an AI Digital Companion across its Msheireb Downtown Doha district. The project marks a significant step in the city’s smart infrastructure, aiming to centralize services for residents, tenants, and visitors through a single digital interface.

A Digital Concierge for Doha’s Smart City
The new system, developed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will function as a 24/7 intelligent digital concierge. It will be deployed across 15 interactive smart kiosks throughout Msheireb Downtown Doha.
The AI companion is designed to be an intuitive point of contact for a range of city services. Users will be able to get directions, find real-time information about events, book tickets, make restaurant reservations, and complete transactions through the kiosks. A companion mobile application will also be launched to provide an extended suite of services on the go.
The pilot phase for the AI Digital Companion is set to begin on April 30, 2026, with the full interactive rollout planned for May 24, 2026. A holographic version of the AI companion will also be on display at the Msheireb Properties showroom to showcase the organization’s sustainability and smart infrastructure initiatives.
Reinforcing Doha’s Digital Foundations
The partnership was formalized at a signing ceremony on April 29, 2026, attended by Msheireb Properties’ CEO Eng. Ali Al Kuwari and MEEZA CEO Mr. Mohamed Al-Ghaithani.
