Registration has opened for the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of AI 2026, which will take place in Riyadh from September 14 to 17, 2026.
The event is being organised by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in partnership with UNESCO and the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE). It will bring together policymakers, academics, AI experts, international organisations, and public- and private-sector representatives.
Over four days, discussions will focus on AI ethics, governance, capacity building, responsible innovation, and international policy. The programme will also include high-level sessions and specialised workshops showcasing global initiatives and experiences in responsible AI.
According to the announcement, the forum aims to support international dialogue on AI governance and the development of trusted frameworks for emerging technologies. Participants can register to explore the programme, featured speakers, and future announcements.
