Emirates Adds Crypto.com Pay for Eligible UAE Flight Bookings

Emirates has added Crypto.com Pay as a payment option for eligible UAE residents booking flights through its website or mobile app.

Customers with a Crypto.com account can select the service at checkout for bookings priced and settled in AED. Desktop users scan a QR code and approve the transaction in the Crypto.com app, while mobile users complete payment through their Crypto.com wallet before returning to Emirates’ platform for confirmation.

The launch follows a memorandum of understanding signed by Emirates and Crypto.com in July 2025 to explore integrating Crypto.com Pay into the airline’s digital payment systems.

“Bringing this initiative to life delivers on our commitment to expanding customer choice in how they pay for travel,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ deputy president and chief commercial officer.

Crypto.com said its Dubai entity powers the integration. The company said the entity was the first virtual asset service provider to receive a Stored Value Facilities licence from the Central Bank of the UAE and operates under that regulatory framework.
