Riyada Kicks Off Future Entrepreneurs 2026 to Build Oman’s Next Generation of Founders

Oman’s Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Riyada), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has launched the “Future Entrepreneurs 2026” bootcamp. The initiative targets students in grades seven, eight, and nine across several governorates, aiming to instill a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation from a young age.

Building a Grassroots Startup Culture

The program’s first session has already started in the Musandam Governorate, with 63 students participating. The core objective of the bootcamp is to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among students, introducing them to the fundamentals of building a startup. Through a series of training workshops and interactive activities, the program guides participants in transforming their initial ideas into viable project concepts.

A Five-Day Deep Dive into Entrepreneurship

Each bootcamp runs for five days in every participating governorate. The curriculum is designed to cover a range of essential topics, including personal and leadership skill development, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving. A team of specialized trainers and professionals will lead the sessions, creating a stimulating learning environment where students can discover their potential and hone their business skills at an early stage.

Aligning with Oman Vision 2040

The “Future Entrepreneurs 2026” camp is a key component of Riyada’s broader strategy to promote self-employment and innovation among the youth. This effort directly supports the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which focuses on developing a generation capable of contributing to a diversified, knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and entrepreneurship.
