Saudi Arabia’s Digital Government Authority has launched the 2026 edition of its Innovation Challenge in partnership with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, STV, Microsoft Saudi Arabia, Nvidia, TASAMA, Amjad Watan and GIE.
The challenge is designed to bring together innovators, entrepreneurs and startups to develop practical digital solutions for government services. It also aims to involve users in designing and improving digital services, accelerate technology adoption and strengthen participants’ digital skills.
Participants will have access to dialogue sessions, specialised workshops and support from the authority’s Innovation Center, including business acceleration, technical expertise and technology and financial enablers for developing viable solutions.
The initiative also offers opportunities to learn from specialists in innovation, digital service design and emerging technologies, while connecting participants with innovators from different sectors.
According to the announcement, this year’s edition included more than 15 government entities and 15 startups, reflecting growing interest in digital innovation and its role in improving government services and user experience.
