Saudi Human Resources Minister Meets Entrepreneurs in Eastern Province

Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi met with business leaders and entrepreneurs at the Eastern Chamber during his visit to the region.

The meeting included an open discussion on the local labor market and business environment, including opportunities and challenges facing companies, entrepreneurs and emerging sectors. Participants also shared proposals on improving the workplace, supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening opportunities for national talent.

According to the ministry, more than 82,000 people in the Eastern Province secured jobs through the Human Resources Development Fund’s programs in 2025. The Social Development Bank provided around SAR 788M in financing during the same year, benefiting about 12,000 individuals and businesses through social, freelance, productive-family and enterprise financing.

Al-Rajhi also visited an entrepreneurship project supported by the Social Development Bank, reviewing how financing helped establish, develop and sustain the venture and create opportunities for national talent.
