Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) held a stake worth about $26B in SpaceX at the end of June, making the company its largest US investment, according to the disclosure cited in the announcement.

The sovereign wealth fund owned more than 154 million Class A shares in SpaceX. Its US equity portfolio was valued at $37.9B at the end of the second quarter of 2026, with the SpaceX holding accounting for the largest share.

SpaceX shares rose by nearly 20% on their first day of trading following the company’s June listing, but later fell about 9% below the offering price amid market volatility.

The PIF’s other US investments include Uber, Lucid, Clarifai and Electronic Arts. The fund completed its full acquisition of Electronic Arts in early August, taking the company private, according to the announcement.

The disclosure adds to the growing scale of the Saudi fund’s international portfolio, which includes more than 220 companies worldwide. The PIF’s total assets exceed $1.2T.
