Fifteen small and medium-sized projects in southern Libya have qualified for the next stage of the SEBA project, after 132 applications were reviewed through several screening and evaluation rounds, according to Innovation Garden and UNDP Libya.
The selection process began with 132 applications. Of these, 82 projects met the basic criteria, 69 underwent detailed evaluation, and 35 advanced to phone interviews before 15 projects were deemed eligible for the next stage.
The initiative aims to support projects with growth potential and improve their readiness to access funding. SEBA is part of the UN Development Programme’s local economic transformation portfolio in Libya, in partnership with Tadaul Financial Group and funded by Japan.
