Sindan, the UAE’s national hub for advanced AI-powered manufacturing, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) to deepen collaboration in research, talent development, and advanced manufacturing. Bridging Academia and Industry
The strategic partnership, formalized during the “Make it in The Emirates” event at ADNEC, will see Sindan work directly with NYUAD on materials testing, qualification, and standardization. This collaboration is designed to create joint R&D and commercialization opportunities by integrating the university’s research capabilities with Sindan’s industrial expertise.
A key component of the agreement is providing students with valuable exposure to large-format additive manufacturing and its associated processes, creating a direct link between theoretical knowledge and practical industry challenges.
Cultivating the Next Wave of Tech Talent
This collaboration provides a structured pathway for students to enter the tech industry. The MoU outlines plans for internships, bootcamps, and dedicated research tracks, equipping students with practical skills for careers in advanced manufacturing and AI.
