Vivid Algorithms, Maraj and Jaras have won a combined $75,000 in equity-free grants through the seventh Women in Tech Bahrain accelerator cohort.
The winners were announced at Demo Day in Manama by the Standard Chartered Foundation, Bahrain FinTech Bay and Village Capital, with support from UNIDO and Innovate for Bahrain. Each startup will also receive three months of incubation support.
Vivid Algorithms, founded by Marwa Hesham, received the first prize of $35,000. Maraj, founded by Latifa Al Khayat, took second place with $25,000, while Jaras, founded by Walaa Aloraibi, received $15,000.
The programme supported 13 women entrepreneurs with investment-readiness guidance, expert mentorship and support to strengthen their business models, scalability and funding strategies.
According to the announcement, the Bahrain programme has supported more than 60 women-led and women-co-founded startups since its launch, distributing more than $380,000 in grants. The initiative forms part of Standard Chartered Foundation’s global Women in Tech programme.
