Dubai-based real estate tokenisation startup Tribe is expanding into Qatar after graduating from the Qatar FinTech Hub accelerator and incorporating a local entity, Tribe RWA Technologies LLC.
The company has also been admitted to the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority Digital Assets Lab, which it described as a pathway toward securing a full operating licence in the country. Tribe clarified that participation in the lab is not itself a licence.
Tribe’s Dubai entity, Tribe Tokenisation FZE, holds a Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) Broker-Dealer licence, according to the company. In Qatar, it plans to develop its offering through the QFC lab in coordination with the QFC.
The startup is building a platform focused on portfolio-based property ownership, allowing investors to hold fractional interests in real estate rather than committing most of their capital to a single asset. Its existing platform enables access to fractional stakes in Dubai properties from AED 2,000, according to Tribe.
Huzayfa Patel of the QFC Authority said Tribe’s admission reflects support for real-world asset tokenisation and its potential to improve access and efficiency in the property sector.
Tribe said the Qatar expansion follows its graduation from the Qatar FinTech Hub accelerator, operated by Qatar Development Bank, and thanked the QFC and QFTH teams for their support.
