TruKKer Middle East is migrating its workloads to Tencent Cloud’s Saudi Arabia Region and adopting CodeBuddy, an AI-powered software development assistant, as it modernizes its technology infrastructure.
Tencent Cloud said the move will give TruKKer a more scalable foundation for its digital freight platform, which connects shippers and carriers across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and neighboring markets. The platform supports freight matching, dispatch, tracking and settlement operations.
According to the announcement, TruKKer’s network includes more than 75,000 trucks and over 1,200 enterprise customers across sectors including FMCG, retail, automotive, construction and energy.
The migration is expected to reduce latency, improve application responsiveness and strengthen service reliability, while supporting Saudi Arabia’s data residency requirements. TruKKer will use Tencent Cloud’s computing, storage, networking, database and AI capabilities as it scales its logistics operations.
CodeBuddy will support engineering teams with AI-assisted code generation, code reviews, pull request analysis and CI/CD workflow optimization. It can also help with test generation, configuration updates, deployment validation and incident troubleshooting.
TruKKer said the combination of local cloud infrastructure and AI tools will help streamline development workflows, accelerate deployment cycles and support future growth across the region.
