UAE-based Syrian entrepreneurs have launched My Syria, a tourism and lifestyle super app developed by 121 Living with the strategic support and supervision of Syria’s Ministry of Tourism.
The platform brings hotels, restaurants, transport services, tourist attractions, experiences, food delivery and other lifestyle services into one mobile app. It currently offers eight services and is expected to expand to more than 40 verified tourism and hospitality providers across Syria.
According to the announcement, My Syria is the first app in Syria to support cross-border digital payments through Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. The capability is designed to let international visitors pay through familiar payment methods while helping local businesses reach more customers.
The app was founded by UAE-based Syrian entrepreneurs Rami Kaiem, Feras Kaiem, Waseem Qudmani and Kinan Madi. Its launch was held under the patronage of Syria’s Minister of Tourism, Mazen Al-Salhani, who said digital transformation is a strategic priority for building a more competitive and connected tourism sector.
My Syria is the first phase of 121 Living’s broader digital platform plans, with additional services and wider geographic coverage expected across Syria.
