Dubai-based EdTech startup arabee was named the winner of the Arabic Language in Early Childhood Track at Sheraa’s Access Sharjah Challenge. The win provides the company with an opportunity to run a pilot of its learning platform in partnership with the Sharjah Education Academy at Al Badee Nursery.

From Challenge to Classroom: The Sharjah Pilot

In just four months, the pilot program, which combines interactive digital tools with hands-on learning kits, demonstrated a 12% improvement in Arabic language competency among the children at Al Badee Nursery. This collaboration between arabee and the Sharjah Education Academy puts the startup’s innovative methods to the test in a live educational environment.
Tackling a Persistent Gap in Education
Teaching Arabic effectively remains a significant hurdle for many schools across the region. The common challenges include low student retention, long hours of lesson preparation for teachers, and frustrating homework experiences for both parents and children. arabee was founded in 2017 to directly address these issues for students from nursery through primary school.
A Play-Based Approach to Arabic
