249Startups is preparing an Angels for Change webinar to examine how Sudanese and diaspora investors view the country’s emerging startup investment ecosystem.
The discussion will draw on a survey of 105 investors and potential investors from Sudan and the diaspora. It explored investment opportunities, promising sectors, investor priorities, risks and the challenges limiting investment activity.
The webinar will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, development partners and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss the findings and what they could mean for the future of angel investment in Sudan. The organisation said the survey offers insights into investor motivations, barriers and ways to strengthen links between investors and entrepreneurs.
The conversations are planned throughout September, with participants able to register their interest to receive access to the findings and details about the webinar.
