FIX Dessert, the Dubai-based brand behind the viral Dubai Chocolate trend, has won the Dubai-it Award in the business projects category.

The award was announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, who highlighted the company’s growth from a home-based business into an international brand.

Founded by Egyptian entrepreneur Sarah Hamouda and her British husband, Yezen Alani, FIX Dessert gained attention for chocolate bars filled with pistachio cream and crispy knafeh. The combination of familiar Middle Eastern flavours helped drive interest in Dubai-style chocolate beyond the UAE.

According to Sheikh Hamdan’s announcement, sales of Dubai-style chocolate increased by 1,234% in one year. The company said its products are now available in markets worldwide and stocked at more than 100 airports.

FIX Dessert also reported reaching more than two million customers and selling over 6.5 million chocolate bars in 15 months. The award adds another milestone to the brand’s rapid expansion from a Dubai home kitchen to international retail shelves.
