Egypt will take part in Web Summit 2026 in Lisbon with 41 startups, supported by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the General Division of Digital Economy and Technology at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
The event will run from November 9 to 12. The Egyptian pavilion will feature 24 startups exhibiting their products and solutions to investors, international companies and technology leaders. Another 17 startups will attend as visitors to explore business opportunities and potential partnerships.
The participating companies operate across artificial intelligence, fintech, digital education, healthcare, cybersecurity and other technology sectors, according to the announcement.
Web Summit will give the startups access to investors, venture capital funds and global technology companies, while offering opportunities to exchange knowledge and explore regional and international expansion.
This will be Egypt’s seventh consecutive participation in the event, following the launch of its first pavilion in 2019. The organisers said the collaboration reflects efforts by government institutions and the business community to help Egyptian startups reach new markets, attract investment and strengthen their position in the global digital economy.
