Technopark Casablanca hosted the Boost Up Lab Demo Day on October 29, marking the end of the first support cohort for entrepreneurs in Morocco’s Casablanca-Settat region.
The program received 166 applications, of which 134 were eligible. Thirty-three startups were selected and 26 received support through three bootcamps and 78 individual coaching sessions, according to Technopark Morocco.
The participating startups worked across sectors including fintech, greentech, edtech, healthtech, digital marketing, proptech and smart mobility. The Demo Day focused on networking and connecting founders with ecosystem stakeholders rather than competition.
Representatives from the Agence de Développement du Digital, TAMWILCOM, Banque Centrale Populaire, Fondation Création d’Entreprises and Les Eaux Minérales d’Oulmes presented available support, funding and labelling opportunities. Participants also learned about Technopark’s Venture Building offer, including the TechnoVentures program.
Boost Up Lab is a national pre-incubation program funded by Morocco’s Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transition and Administrative Reform and deployed by Technopark Morocco under the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy. The program continues to support entrepreneurs across the country.
