The UAE has launched a new integrated digital initiative designed to streamline private-sector employment for Emirati citizens, marking a significant step in its broader efforts to advance Emiratization and reduce government bureaucracy. The Emirati Work Bundle in the Private Sector, introduced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) in collaboration with local and federal government partners, offers comprehensive digital services for Emiratis and their employers.

This initiative is a key component of the UAE’s digital transformation agenda under the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program, aiming to create a more efficient and supportive ecosystem for national talent.

A Unified Platform for National Talent

The Emirati Work Bundle is designed to standardize documentation, ensure seamless pension and social security registration for Emiratis in private-sector roles, and leverage platform integration to deliver faster, more efficient services.

Khalil Khoori, Under-Secretary of Labor Market and Emiratization Operations at MoHRE, stated that the initiative streamlines procedures and reduces employment requirements. He noted that it covers the full journey, from an individual’s registration on the Nafis platform to their private-sector employment and subsequent enrollment in pension and social security systems.

Cross-Government Collaboration Powers the Initiative

The program’s success relies on advanced data integration between MoHRE and a host of government entities. Partners include the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security; the General Pension and Social Security Authority; the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council; the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund; and various health and digital authorities across the Emirates.

Major General Saeed Salem Balhas Al Shamsi, Acting Director-General at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, highlighted that the initiative enhances secure digital services by integrating data across government entities, which supports service efficiency.eras Al Ramahi, Director-General of the General Pension and Social Security Authority, added that the partnership with MoHRE “saves time for both Emirati job seekers and employers while enabling faster service delivery through real-time status tracking.”

Echoing this sentiment, Khalaf Abdullah Rahma Al Hammadi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, said the initiative reflects an advanced level of integration between local and federal entities, supporting early and accurate pension registration and strengthening social protection for Emirati citizens.
