Leancubator will host the first ESG Excellence Summit in Algiers on 22 September 2026, bringing together business leaders, financial institutions, investors, regulators, public-sector representatives, international organisations and innovation stakeholders.
The event will take place at Hotel El Djazaïr and focus on how environmental, social and governance practices can support competitiveness, investment attractiveness and sustainable growth in Algeria.
According to the announcement, the agenda will cover sustainable finance and investment, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and international market requirements, energy and industry, the circular economy, ESG governance and risk management, innovation, and human capital, inclusion and employability.
The summit will also examine how changing sustainability standards and reporting expectations are affecting companies operating in or connected to international markets. Leancubator said the event will go beyond panel discussions, with business-to-business and business-to-government meetings designed to help participants explore partnerships and practical opportunities.
The summit is being held under the patronage of several Algerian ministries and with support from financial institutions, banks, insurers, industrial companies and international partners.
