Palestine has officially entered the global technology stage with its first-ever formal participation at Web Summit Qatar 2026. Showcasing at the dedicated Palestine Pavilion, a cohort of 13 innovative startups is representing the resilience and high-tech ingenuity of the Palestinian ecosystem. This historic initiative is organized by the Palestine Trade Center (PalTrade) through the EU-funded EU4Trade program, in partnership with the Innovative Private Sector Development (IPSD II) project, Flow Accelerator, Intersect Innovation Hub, and the Ibtikar Fund.

A Test Local, Scale Regional Strategy
The participation of these startups at Web Summit Qatar 2026 highlights a broader trend within the Palestinian tech scene: a remote-first, export-oriented workforce. With a fragmented domestic market, Palestinian founders are increasingly designing products to “test local and scale regional,” targeting expansion into the Gulf and broader MENA markets. The presence of these companies in Doha, among 1,600 global startups, signals that Palestine’s tech sector is now a recognized competitor on the international stage.
