4 Min Read

Riyadh-based MOZN, a company developing AI-powered financial crime prevention tools, has been named a Category Leader in the 2026 RiskTech Quadrant® for Enterprise Fraud Solutions by Chartis. The report places MOZN in its highest tier of recognition, making it the only Middle Eastern company to achieve this status among a field of more than 45 global vendors.

Quick Facts

  • Named 2026 Category Leader by Chartis.
  • Only Middle Eastern company in the top tier.
  • Recognized for strength in mule and APP fraud detection.

A Leap into the Top Tier

MOZN’s placement as a Category Leader marks a significant jump from its 2025 ranking as an “Enterprise Solution.” The one-year leap reflects the company’s advancements in its core technology, fraud typology coverage, and overall platform capabilities. The Chartis report specifically highlighted MOZN’s strong performance in tackling mule detection and Authorized Push Payment (APP) fraud—two areas causing significant financial and reputational damage to financial institutions. The analysis also noted the platform’s effective use of AI and GenAI, its robust workflow and analytics, and its deployment flexibility.

Unifying Fraud Detection with a FRAML Platform

As fraudsters increasingly use AI to automate attacks like synthetic identity generation and deepfake impersonations, financial institutions are finding fragmented, single-point solutions inadequate. MOZN addresses this with its unified FRAML (Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering) platform, which combines real-time fraud detection, behavioral analytics, case management, and compliance into a single architecture.

The platform uses agentic AI to automate and speed up the creation of fraud detection rules. By converging fraud and compliance, it allows institutions to respond to complex threats such as APP scams, mule networks, and account takeovers with greater speed and efficiency. This integrated approach aims to deliver faster decisions, improve detection accuracy, lower false positive rates, and reduce friction for customers.

Industry Recognition and AI-Driven Defense

“In the modern digital economy, institutions cannot protect themselves using fragmented, legacy point tools,” said Malik Alyousef, Co-founder and Deputy CEO of MOZN. “The challenge is not just detecting fraud, it is managing it end-to-end across the entire customer lifecycle… Being named a Chartis Category Leader in Enterprise Fraud Solutions validates that MOZN has built exactly that.”

The report from Chartis affirmed the platform’s technical foundation and market position.

“MOZN’s Category Leader placing in our Enterprise Fraud quadrant reflects a modern, AI-enabled architecture, unique regional presence and strong growth,” noted Philip Mackenzie, Senior Research Principal at Chartis. “MOZN’s solution also differentiates itself with a focus on real-time fraud detection, agentic AI, payment intelligence and advanced analytics.”
