Orange Tunisia has completed the third edition of its annual Final Year Project Challenge (Challenge PFE 2026), an initiative designed to connect Gen Z students with the professional world. The program aims to strengthen Tunisia’s tech talent pool by providing practical experience and mentorship, reinforcing the company’s role in the local innovation ecosystem.
Quick Facts
- Program: 3rd annual Final Year Project Challenge.
- Participants: 143 student interns selected.
- Focus: Bridging academia and professional life.
From University to Corporate
The initiative kicked off with the release of the “PFE Book,” a guide to internship opportunities at Orange Tunisia, which was distributed to university partners and published on LinkedIn. This outreach attracted significant interest from students across the country, leading to the selection of 143 interns based on their potential, enthusiasm, and the quality of their applications.
A Program Focused on Professional Development
Throughout their internships, participants received targeted coaching and attended workshops focused on critical professional skills. This year’s sessions concentrated on how to effectively pitch a final year project (Pitch PFE), communication strategies, and stress management techniques. The goal was to equip students with the soft skills necessary to present their work confidently and navigate professional environments.
The challenge culminated in a multi-stage evaluation process. Initially, 21 interns presented their projects to a preliminary committee of experts from Orange Tunisia. From this group, seven finalists were chosen to pitch their ideas directly to a senior jury that included the company’s CEO, members of the executive committee (COMEX), and other internal experts. The final ceremony recognized all participants and awarded the top three projects for their innovation and quality.
A Commitment to Tunisian Talent
Habib Latrech, Human Resources Director at Orange Tunisia, commented on the program’s strategic importance. “Through this third edition of the Challenge PFE, we reaffirm our commitment to guiding young talents in their academic and professional journeys by providing a stimulating environment that encourages innovation, learning, and skill development,” he stated.
Latrech added, “The Challenge PFE has become a real launchpad for students, allowing them to showcase their projects, develop their skills, and prepare for the challenges of the job market. This challenge also embodies Orange Tunisia’s commitment to supporting young people and enhancing their professional integration.”
Building on the success of this year’s edition, Orange Tunisia is already inviting students to participate in the upcoming fourth installment of the challenge, continuing its mission to discover and support future talent and innovative projects.
