Abu Dhabi’s Department of Community Development has launched “Tanbadh Behala,” an initiative designed to help children and young people turn business ideas into practical projects.
Running from July 24 to August 9 as part of Abu Dhabi Sports Summer, the initiative is being held at Hall 4 of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). It will be open to visitors from 3pm to 10pm throughout the program.
More than 80 participants aged 3 to 21 will have the opportunity to showcase their projects, products and services. According to the announcement, the experience is designed to build skills in project management, marketing, customer communication, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
Participants have been divided into three groups, with each group presenting its projects for six days. The initiative also includes beneficiaries of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, supporting a more inclusive approach to youth entrepreneurship.
The program is being organised in partnership with Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company and several government and community entities. The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development is providing free licences to participants to support the launch of their projects, while Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and other partners are contributing to the wider initiative.
