Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) has launched a training program to prepare state-owned companies with provisional listings on the Egyptian Exchange for public offerings.

Delivered by the Financial Services Institute and the Egyptian Institute of Directors, the program simulates the IPO process from provisional listing through post-listing compliance. It includes seven modules covering capital-market regulations, listing procedures, financial readiness, governance, sustainability, disclosure, prospectus preparation and offering mechanisms.

The first training cycle began on July 26, 2026, and will run for seven days. It includes executives, finance officers and managers from 14 provisionally listed companies.

The program targets company chairpersons, board members, CEOs, CFOs, finance and accounting managers, disclosure and investor-relations officers, and governance and internal-audit officials. Sessions are led by specialists from the FRA, the Egyptian Exchange and licensed IPO advisers.

According to the FRA, the initiative will also be extended to other state-owned companies targeted for future offerings, including businesses in petroleum, mining, pharmaceuticals, tourism, construction, education and manufacturing. The program is being implemented with the State Ownership Unit to support listing requirements and continued compliance.
