noon, launched in 2017 with $1B in backing, has become a notable talent pipeline for MENA’s startup ecosystem, according to an analysis conducted with Crustdata.

The analysis identified more than 200 noon alumni who went on to found companies that have collectively raised over $78M. Their startups span healthcare, gaming, logistics, fintech, payments and investing.

Among the companies founded by former noon employees are Okadoc, which has raised $22.3M; Mythik, with $20M; Torod, with $12.5M; InvestSky, with $7.4M; and Ghanem, with $7.1M. Other alumni-founded startups include Cashee Tech, Nomod and PIESHIP.

The findings highlight how operators trained in one of the region’s largest and most demanding e-commerce environments are now building across the wider MENA technology landscape.

With noon still less than a decade old, its alumni network may continue to expand as more former employees move into entrepreneurship.
