Zain Kuwait has partnered with Kuwait Codes to expand education in programming, artificial intelligence and emerging digital technologies for young people in the country.
Through the collaboration, Zain will support programmes that provide students and aspiring professionals with practical technology skills. According to the announcement, the initiative aims to develop local talent, encourage innovation and prepare participants for careers in Kuwait’s evolving technology sector.
The partnership also supports Kuwait’s broader ambition to build a knowledge-based and competitive digital economy. By combining educational programmes with industry support, the initiative is intended to help connect academic learning with workplace needs.
The collaboration reflects the expanding role of telecom operators in digital skills development. Beyond connectivity, operators are increasingly supporting coding academies, innovation programmes and technology training to strengthen local ecosystems and improve workforce readiness.
For Kuwait, building skills in AI, software development and other digital fields is becoming increasingly important as demand for technology professionals grows. Hands-on training can also support entrepreneurship by giving young people the capabilities to develop digital products and services.
