Construction has officially started on a Technopark business incubator in Sidi Yahya El Gharb, as part of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region’s development program to support entrepreneurship, attract investment and create jobs.
The launch ceremony took place on Monday, July 27, 2026, under the leadership of the governor of Sidi Slimane province and Rachid El Abdi, president of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Council. Local elected officials, public authorities and other stakeholders also attended.
According to the announcement, the incubator will provide space for innovative projects and offer guidance, training and advisory services to entrepreneurs and people developing new business ideas. The project is intended to strengthen the local investment ecosystem and support small businesses and startups.
The regional council said the facility is expected to help attract entrepreneurial initiatives, support job creation and contribute to more balanced and sustainable economic development across the region.
