After two days of intense project development, 33 participating teams pitched their ventures at the semi-finals of the Jameel Deep Tech Initiative 2026. Organized by StartSmart Saudi, the event showcased advanced business models, market growth opportunities, and technological innovations to a judging panel, resulting in 10 teams qualifying for the final startup-building stage.
Advancing Local Innovation Through Vision 2030
The initiative is supported and organized by Community Jameel Saudi and StartSmart Saudi, in partnership with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and MIT J-WEL. The program offers a 26-week journey that integrates technical, commercial, and human resources to build high-value research and development startups. This effort aligns directly with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to drive local innovation and establish the Kingdom as a global leader in the health, environment, and energy sectors.
