Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has highlighted five homegrown technology companies supported by its Scale Now programme, which helps growth-stage businesses expand in Qatar and international markets.
The companies operate across cybersecurity, fintech, artificial intelligence, sports technology and aviation software. They are Cytomate, SkipCash, Khadoom, Sponix and EMMA Systems.
Launched as Qatar’s first national scale-up programme for digital businesses, Scale Now supports companies with validated products and commercial traction. Its support includes tailored mentorship, executive coaching, strategic partnerships, pilot opportunities, investment readiness and access to government and enterprise customers.
According to the announcement, companies across the programme’s first three cohorts have collectively raised QR109 million, completed 32 B2B commercial deals and recorded average revenue growth of 32%. They also received more than 600 hours of expert mentorship and reported an 89% Net Promoter Score.
The featured startups reflect the range of Qatar’s technology ecosystem. Cytomate develops AI-powered cybersecurity tools, while SkipCash provides integrated digital payment services. Khadoom combines conversational AI with human fulfilment for everyday tasks. Sponix builds virtual advertising and broadcast technology for live sports, and EMMA Systems develops AI software for airport operations.
Scale Now is delivered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Development Bank, the QRDI Council and Invest Qatar.
