Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports has signed a memorandum of understanding with information security company Elm to strengthen cooperation in digital innovation and transformation.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of LEAP 2026 in Riyadh. It covers the exchange of expertise and knowledge, as well as collaboration on digital innovation, according to the announcement.
The partnership supports the Directorate’s efforts to develop its digital operations and adopt innovative technologies and solutions aimed at improving services for citizens, residents and visitors. It also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals and Vision 2030.
The signing was attended by Acting Director General of Passports Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba and Elm CEO Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Omair.
