Wego has expanded its partnership with Juspay as the Middle East and North Africa travel marketplace grows across the region.
Juspay is helping Wego connect with local payment service providers, acquirers, banks and payment methods more quickly. This allows travellers to use options familiar in their markets, including cards and digital wallets.
According to the announcement, Wego has improved payment performance since adopting Juspay’s orchestration platform. Intelligent transaction routing, 3D Secure optimisation and automated retries have supported higher authorisation rates and helped recover eligible failed payments.
Unified error mapping also gives Wego better visibility into payment issues and enables faster resolution across providers, the companies said.
“As Wego scales across markets with different payment behaviours, our partnership with Juspay gives us the flexibility to offer more locally relevant ways to pay while maintaining a simple and reliable booking journey,” said Alexandre Morin, Wego’s Director of Payments, Risk & Fintech.
Through Juspay, Wego can connect with more than 300 payment service providers and acquirers globally without building separate integrations for each. The companies plan to explore further payment solutions as Wego’s business and customer needs evolve.
