The King Saud University–SparkLabs Fund has graduated its first cohort of eight startups, marking the completion of its programme with a Demo Day held on September 3, 2026, during LEAP26 in Riyadh.
The participating startups presented their projects and technology solutions to investors and entrepreneurs. The event also featured a panel discussion on scaling businesses in Saudi Arabia, with Riyadh Valley Company CEO Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Saleh among the speakers.
According to the announcement, Al-Saleh described the first cohort’s graduation as an important milestone for the fund and highlighted the role of strategic partnerships in helping turn ideas and innovations into companies. He also reaffirmed Riyadh Valley Company’s commitment to supporting technology startups and improving their access to investment opportunities and markets.
Riyadh Valley Company, the investment arm of King Saud University, said the programme reflects its wider role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, knowledge economy and technology sector.
