Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology held an online seminar on September 9 focused on how environmental sustainability and digital transformation can create new opportunities for young people.
The session covered sustainable development, environmental challenges and the role of the green economy in shaping future jobs. It also examined green careers, the skills needed in the changing labor market and how those capabilities can support youth-led ventures.
Speakers discussed green entrepreneurship and technology, including how digital transformation can help address environmental challenges while opening new paths in innovation, employment and entrepreneurship. According to the ministry, the seminar forms part of its ongoing efforts to build young people’s capabilities and prepare them for future labor market needs.
