Saudi fintech Fina has launched a private, closed-ended direct financing fund with a target size of SAR 500 million to provide liquidity to small and medium-sized businesses across the Kingdom.
The Fina Fund is managed by Joa Capital, a Riyadh-based alternative asset manager licensed by the Saudi Capital Market Authority. The fund will support corporate financing needs including procurement, supplier payments, receivables and other business workflows, subject to eligibility criteria and applicable terms.
SAR 500 million is the fund’s target size, not an amount raised or committed.
The launch comes as Saudi Arabia’s SME financing gap is estimated at around SAR 400 billion, according to Forbes Middle East. SME financing accounted for 11.3% of total bank loans in 2025, below the Kingdom’s target of 20% by 2030.
Fina, SILQ’s B2B embedded finance business, said it has facilitated more than SAR 2 billion in trade liquidity to date. The company said the new fund will extend its technology, data and operational capabilities beyond the Sary ecosystem to serve the wider Saudi B2B economy.
