Arabian Travel Market 2026 brought more than 55,000 travel professionals and 2,800 exhibitors to Dubai, with airlines, tourism authorities and hospitality operators announcing new partnerships, routes and tourism initiatives across the region.
Held under the theme “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology,” the four-day event also introduced ATM Travel Tech. More than 180 exhibitors from 30 countries showcased work across artificial intelligence, robotics, fintech, immersive technology and green technology.
Emirates signed seven tourism memorandums of understanding covering the Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar, Sharjah, Malaysia, Finland and Western Norway. The agreements focus on joint marketing, travel packages and familiarization programs.
Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector gained a new low-cost carrier after the General Authority of Civil Aviation granted an Air Operator Certificate to an Air Arabia-led consortium. The airline plans to serve 24 domestic and 57 international destinations, with a target of about 10 million passengers annually by 2030.
Flydubai said it now serves more than 125 destinations across 56 countries, while Ras Al Khaimah outlined plans to reach 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030. Dubai Safari Park also announced a new premium experience ahead of its eighth season.
