The Gulf Business Awards 2026 recognised leading companies and executives from across the Gulf at a ceremony held on September 23 at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, JBR.
Dr Azad Moopen, Chairman and Founder of Aster DM Healthcare, received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Alshaya Group was named Gulf Business Company of the Year, while Raheel Ahmed, Group CEO of RAKBANK, won Gulf Business Leader of the Year.
The awards covered sectors including artificial intelligence, banking, tourism, hospitality, retail, healthcare, energy, technology, investment, logistics and sustainability. Inception42 won AI Company of the Year, with AIQ highly commended. stc Bahrain received the Technology Company of the Year award, while EFG Holding won Investment Company of the Year.
Other company winners included Miral for Tourism, Radisson Hotel Group for Hospitality, Mediclinic Middle East for Healthcare, GE Vernova for Energy and TalentOne for Resilient Company of the Year. Saeed Nasser Al Ahbabi of ADNOC Distribution was named AI Leader of the Year, and H.E. Dr Tariq Bin Hendi of Botim and Astra Tech won Technology Leader of the Year.
The 2026 edition formed part of Gulf Business’s 30th anniversary year.
